Yup, Mustangs from StoneCold; who woulda thought.

^ Start with the weakest first. 494 HP on the dyno. Naturally aspirated. I'm plenty skeptical of this figure, plus the fact that it's in a convertible. Those frames are plenty weak, even with sub-connectors.

^ That's some serious nice price there, especially with those mods. But a cheap car with a ton of mods....

^ The baby seat in back is what cracked me up.

^ Best for last. SOMEONE GET THIS. PLEASE. I HAVE RUN OUT OF GARAGE SPACE. I WILL GIVE YOU A REAL MACH 1 GRILLE TO REPLACE THE REGULAR ONE.GUIS.SRSLY.GUIS.

I always love when people either do a crazy expensive engine build, or a full resto or something, then after dumping thousands into the car, they put tens of miles on it and sell it for 1/3rd the cost that they have into it.

Thats terrible economics on the sellers part.

And then bitch when people negotiate because they can't get a good return on their investment.

494 on the dyno naturally aspirated is stupid for a street 289. Now, it is possible to achieve that on the street using a 347 stroker around 7000rpm, but still pushing it.

Reasons why you would sell this:

1. You're tired of buying 110 octane or changing the timing and losing lots of power just to run street gas

2. The 9 inch rear end can take it, but the frame cannot .

3. You broke something serious and you want to sell it before anyone notices.

The SVT Cobra is actually pretty intriguing. Ugly color, but fast. If you look at it as a $10,000 project (as opposed to buying a post-2005 mustang) it has huge potential.

The black Mustang is sexy as hell. I'd be wary about pushing it seriously at a track (not until the engine was gone through first) because there are so many of these 'show' cars that look like they have $30,000 engine builds, but will explode the minute they go over 5500rpm because the supporting and internal parts are all stock.

Oh god why don't I have the time and space for that Mach 1. I'm going to go cry myself to sleep.

I have nearly the same thoughts, especially about the Mach 1!

Our biggest difference is that I like the Cobra's color.
